For her ears only

This is a simple piece that required a lot of practicing to find that simplicity.
It consists of just a few melodic phrases and improvisation.
The piece is in A lydian but I found the melodic inspiration in the Indian raga called Yaman (which is a lydian scale but with some specific melodic movements). I start by playing a C# to disguise the mode so once the A is introduced it is heard in a different way than if I would have started with A. The most important thing for me when playing this is finding the right feeling for the music, keeping it as simple as possible and letting every note sound as clear as possible.

In my examination concert I used this piece to finish my Jarrett-structurewhich also ended the whole concert.
